Work & Extended Stays

MTN Fun Basecamp is a vacation campground, but we make a small number of sites available for extended stays when it's a good fit. We offer two arrangements depending on your situation — both subject to availability and our approval.

We receive a lot of inquiries and respond when there's availability and a good fit. If you don't hear back, please don't take it personally — it's simply a matter of timing.

What we offer
Option 1
Year-Round Site
A small number of sites available year-round for individuals working long-term in the Squamish area. Our most limited arrangement — assessed carefully on a case-by-case basis.
Availability: Very limited
Option 2
Off-Season Extended Stay
Sites available October through April for individuals on shorter temporary placements. A good fit for people who need a reliable base for a contract, project, or work term.
Availability: October–April
Criteria
What we're looking for

Extended stays work well for individuals on temporary work placements and remote workers living from their RV who want to spend time in Squamish. Our sites are shared with vacation guests year-round — extended stay occupants are expected to be good neighbours.

  • —Your own fully self-contained RV or trailer in good condition
  • —Here as an individual or couple — not part of a crew or company group
  • —Personal vehicles only — no commercial or company vehicles
  • —No pets of any kind, including dogs
  • —Looking for a quiet base — not a worksite or a social hub
